Lord Yagneswar Homam, Lord Rishabha Homam, Lord Prithu Homam and Lord Dhanvantari Homam

Yagneswar or Lord Yagna is the supreme controller of yagnas, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu mentioned in the Bhagavata Purana. He was born to Rushi and Aguthi. Rushi is one of the mind-born sons of Lord Brahma and Aghuthi is the daughter of Lord Manu. Lord Yagna’s consort is Mother Dakshina considered the goddess of charity and wealth who is also an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi.

Lord Yagneswar taught the importance of performing yajnas to please the gods and attain their blessings. It’s also believed that Lord Yajna was born from fire when ancient sages performed Homa. Lord Yagna taught people to be helpful and protect each other during times of crisis.

All offerings made to the sacrificial fire or Homam reach lord Vishnu who is easily pleased and fulfills the wishes of the person who performs the yagna.

Lord Rishaba avatar is the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu among the 24 avatars. Also called Rishabh Dev, he was the son of King Nabhi and Marudevi. He became a great ascetic who achieved control over the senses. The Bhagavad Purana describes the incarnation of Rishabha who was intelligent, handsome, and robust. Rishabh means unexceptionable and the king lived up to his name. His wife is Jayanthi, the daughter of Lord Indra.

Rishabha became the first Jain Tirthankara and taught people the secret of moksha. Lord Rishabha teaches people the art of controlling the mind and anger. He is considered to be immortal and guides his followers to the path of conservation of life.

Rishabha Homam removes all negativities from a person and shows the path of truth and dharma or righteousness. Rishabha form of Lord Vishnu when invoked gives blessings of children to the childless and also gives intelligence to them. The Lord gives sound health, ensures the well-being of all in the family, and shows the path for moksha.

The great epic Mahabharata and the Puranas have referred to King Prithu, as the ninth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was responsible for creating the vegetation on Earth. The earth goddess assisted the king in producing good grains and crops and hence she got the name Prithvi.

Worshipping Lord Prithu removes suffering, unnatural deaths, sorrows, and calamities. Performing Homam to Lord Prithu wipes out poverty, and grants foodgrains, and immense prosperity. The Homam rewards with good virtues, riches, and a life of contentment and joy.

According to Bhagavata Purana, Lord Dhanvantari is the tenth avatar of Lord Vishnu who emerged with a pot of nectar during the churning of the ocean by the gods and demons. He is the physician of the gods and also the father of Ayurveda. Lord Dhanvantari holds the nectar of immortality in his hand and can give immediate relief to illnesses and diseases. He also nurses one back to strength, and vitality and ensures that you have a long life free of ailments.

Lord Dhanvantari is a divine physician who puts an end to all health issues. He spreads positive vibrations and protects everyone from any extreme health risks. The Lord bestows a disease-free healthy life, vitality, and strength. He removes all sufferings, ailments, and aches. According to Srimad Bhagavatam, by the grace of Lord Dhanvantari, not only rare diseases of the body and mind are cured, but also the soul is relieved from the constant repetition of birth and death. Performing Dhanvantari Homam removes health issues related to sorcery and witchcraft. The 108 herbs offered in the Homa fire emit therapeutic smoke that not only heals the environment but also infuses into a person’s aura to rejuvenate and energise the individual.

The Vaitheeswaran energy centre is famed for Lord Vaidyanatha who is believed to have curative powers. A special ‘abhisheka’ is performed to the lord that has gained significance from the times of ancient Siddhars who were mystics and had great knowledge in the fields of science, medicine, alchemy, spirituality, etc. Lord Vaitheeswaran or Vaidyanatha cures people of not only physical illnesses but also the cycle of birth and death. The scriptures say that even remembering Lord Dhanvantri can cure one of all diseases. He destroys negativity and restores good health. He is the physician of the gods and bestower of immense well-being. The Dhanvantri yantra is meant for good health and it destroys negative energies from the surroundings and brings positivity to its owner. Its radiations are so powerful that it can control the body and mind. The yantra gives relief to those with chronic diseases and helps one to lead a happy and peaceful life. It ensures positivity and grants enhanced health and vigour. It also boosts immunity, energy, and strength and bestows longevity. Worshipping the yantra prevents mental and physical illnesses, and alleviates difficulties and dangers. It helps to manifest desires especially those related to fortune, wealth, and success. The yantra also helps one to stay focussed and gives a life of peace. Place the yantra facing east or north in a clean space like the puja altar. Wash the yantra with rose water or milk and again rinse it with water and wipe it to dry. Apply sandal, turmeric or vermillion paste to the corners of the yantra. Light a lamp and incense stick and chant the Dhanvantri mantra for increased benefits.
