Lord Ganapathi is worshipped in 54 different forms for the different role he plays and the various attributes he signifies. Of them, the Runa Vimochana is one. The word Runa means debt and Vimochana means to relive oneself, so Runa Vimochana is debt relief and this form of Ganapathi relieves one of debts and financial burdens by granting immense wealth and lifting hurdles that prevent one from accumulating wealth.
