Goddess Mangala Chandi or Mangala Chandika is a Deity in the form of Goddess Parvati holding the celestial power of Lord Brahma. Goddess Shakti (Parvati) is in a terrifying appearance, has manifested as Goddess Chandika, to destroy evil spirits. Goddess Chandi is a female deity who closely resembles her form and nature. She identified as Lord Shakta as per pre-Vedic sources. The philosophical Samkhya system and concept of "Spirit of the Universe" or "Eternal Goddess" she is called as "Goddess Shakti" or "Goddess Devi". Her female principles are extremely powerful in nature which is voluminous, ferocious and also beyond reach.
