Ayur-veda ( For Body/Mind )

Ayurveda is a primordial science dating back to some 5000 years old. It is the science of nature and a medical practice followed in India and a few other countries. The word is coined from the word ‘ayur’ meaning life and ‘veda meaning knowledge. It addresses the three biological energies of the body—the vata, pittha and kapha.
Otherwise known as doshas, all three of them can be found in everyone and everything, but in different proportions. They combine to create different climates in our bodies. In fact, the particular ratio of vata, pitta, and kapha within each of us has a significant influence on our individual physical, mental, and emotional character traits.
The foundational works of Ayurveda are the Suśruta Saṃhitā and the Charaka Saṃhitā, which dates back to the Vedic ages in India. Ayurveda has remained the trusted form of medicine for several centuries and we at Vedic Folks understand that it is a form of medicine that many people repose their faith in.
