Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita is one of the greatest gifts that the Vedic scriptures have provided to mankind. Hesitating to shoot, with arrows, his own kinsmen on the battle ground, Arjuna was in conflict with his thoughts when Lord Krishna came to his help. Lord Krishna during the course of His most enlightening and historical talk with Arjuna revealed profound, sublime and soul-stirring spiritual truths and explained the rare secrets of Yoga, Vedanta, Bhakti and Karma. All the teachings of Lord Krishna were subsequently recorded as the Bhagavad Gita by Saint Vyasa for the benefit of humanity at large. Not only Arjuna benefitted by this divine message, for the entire humanity this holy song has become a yardstick for posterity to follow. Saint Vyasa presented this devout nectar to humanity for the guidance of their daily conduct of life, spiritual elevation and self-realisation.
