Goddess Gayatri is an incarnation of Goddess Saraswathi, who along with Lord Brahma gifted the four Vedas to mankind. It also symbolises five pranas, i.e. Prana, Apana, Vyana, Udana and Samana. She is the only goddess with three eyes, similar to Lord Shiva.
