Lord Bhairava is a fierce incarnation of Lord Shiva. The child form of Lord Kala Bhairava is known as Batuk Bhairava. According to Shakti Samagama Tantra, Bhatuk Bhairava appeared as a divine radiance of Lord Shiva which assumed the form of a five-year old child to destroy a demon Aapad. The child was blessed by all the gods and he became invincible. One can worship Batuk Bhairav on any day, but Tuesday and Sunday have special significance as it pleases him easily and the Lord showers the devotee with innumerable blessings. Batuk Bhairava Homam pleases the child form of Kala Bhairava easily to receive blessings of good health, wealth and harmony in life.
