Akshaya means limitless or that which never diminishes. Vedic astrology points to three auspicious days that do not need a muhurta for starting new ventures – Ugadi, Akshaya Tritiya and Vijaya Dashami. Akshaya Tritiya is the most significant among them because the Sun and Moon are at their brightest best on this day. ★ Akshaya Tritiya also marks Parasuram Jayanthi, birthday of Lord Parasurama, sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Lord Kubera, Treasurer of Heavens, received his wealth and position from Goddess Lakshmi on this day.
★ Pandava king Yudhishtra received Akshaya patra to serve never-diminishing food to the needy of his kingdom.

★The moon will be exalted in Taurus. Mars, the star lord is along with Saturn in Scorpio and will receive the attributes of the Moon.
★The Mars-Moon correlation creates Chandra Mangala Yoga which is a wealth creating yoga.
