Narasimha Dwadashi is an important day for Lord Narasimha, the day of his incarnation falling on the twelfth day of Shuklapaksha Thiti (a waxing phase of Lunar) during Pushya Phalguna month of the Lunar cycle. This day is also called as Govinda Dwadashi. On this day offering prayers to Lord Narayana (Lord Vishnu) will make you the possessor of all living things in the universe, overcome all troubles and obstacles, fears in life, remove inflictions and bless immense confidence and courage to face the adversities in life courageously.
Lord Narasimha is an epitome of supremacy, is another form of Lord Vishnu, one who is commanding, authoritative and universal, capable of handling enormous burden, hold substantial stress and hardship, tough and potent, inaccessible, a protector of divine triad which in simple terms denotes one who protects the interest of the creator, protector and destructor, having tremendous strength, ferocious to fight, a powerful warrior, who removes all that is evil, protect every aspect of morale and physical sense. He is Tenacious one who manifest victory over evil-eye and success over negativities.
Lord Vishnu fourth embodiment is Lord Narasimha in order to kill Demon King "Hiranyakashipu" to save his beloved devotee "Bhakta Prahlada". Lord Vishnu has assumed this form of fierce, on the top of a mountain by name "Himvat" means "Harivamsa" to defeat the demon king "Hiranyakashyapu" who spoilt the religious beliefs, commanding antagonism and stood abusive, on those who worshipped Lord Vishnu. The word "Nara" means man, and "Simha" means Lion, which is together Man and Loin, a mixed creature a manifest of Lord Vishnu. Out of 74 forms, 9 forms are considered more popular. These 9 forms are together called "Nava Narasimha".
Lord Ugra Narasimha arises in his ferocious form with demon King Hiranyakashyapu defaced body on his lap, in front of Bhakta Prahalada who bows his head, respectfully. He ushered his blessings to Lord Garuda and to Adi Shankaracharya, a philosopher and theologian.
Lord Yoga Narasimha is in philosophical posture, in a sitting posture, his legs crossed, eyes closed denotes peace and resting in Yogic Mudra, a form when Lord Narasimha trained his devotee Bhakta Prahalada in the basics of Yoga.
Appearing with Eight Hands in a ferocious form, two hands used to kill Demon Hiranyakashipu, two to garland himself with intestines of Hiranyakashipu's stomach, two to hold the demon on his lap and last two to hold the weapons of conch and discus.
The Kshatriya sect have grown with weapons started abusing their powers with discourtesy and Lord Parashurama has to correct the mistakes by destroying Kshatriya sects, is blessed by Sri Bhargava Narashimha. This form is similar to the Ugra Narasimha form.
This is the form where Sri Krodha Narasimha holds the mother earth with his middle teeth appeared with his extended teeth is a combination of third incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Sri Pavana Narasimha abodes close to Pavana river, is also called as Pamuleti Narasimha Swamy, is most peaceful among nine incarnations. He liberates devotees from Sins of past and present. Once Sri Pava Narasimha has cleared Brahma-hatya Sin of Sage Bharadwaja.

Under the Karanja Tree, Lord Hanuman did penance to see Lord Rama.
