                Name of Sri Ekakshara Ganapathi form is derived from His one-syllabled mantra, which is also His seed (bija, first letter of His name) syllable, “gam”. In this form, Sri Ekakshara Ganapathi appears with four hands (chaturbhuja). His left hands hold noose and His broken tusk. His rights hand hold goad and the other hand shows wish-granting gesture. His trunk holds a fruit from citron tree. His complexion is brilliant red. In this form, He has three eyes, bears a digit of the moon on his crest, wears red garments, has ornaments of snakes, and sits on a blue lotus.
