It unites separated couples, builds understanding within family
It makes the world a better place to live
If you want happiness, success, and peace in life we need to focus on our relationships. After all we cannot live in this world alone and we need our family and society. The society also needs us, both complementing each other for development.
All relationships have some sort of an emotional bonding or attachment. We try to make it work because of the human nature in us. For e.g. a son may have committed mistakes in his life. The father ought to forgive his son and try to understand what circumstances had led the boy to commit the blunder. This leads to better relationships and better understanding between the members of the family. This understanding is the basis and helps in the long run. For all relationships like husband and wife, brother and sister, mother and daughter etc, this awareness is very important.
Well, that was practically speaking, but according to Vedic thought, all your relationship karma has an planetary influence to it. Most people try to bring about a change in their lives, they want to see success, happiness and contentment but somewhere down the line, it backfires and they are left unhappy and distressed. This leads to negativity and uncertainty and they stay aloof from family and society.
As they say there’s a solution to every problem and the Vedas are here to help. The last four mantras in the Rig Veda are called Aikyamatya Sooktham and the verses are as follows.
Chanting of the mantra brings about unison and paves way for peace.
