Who is Lord Bhavodbhava?

 

Lord Muruga is otherwise known as Lord Bhavithbhavan. Residing in 6 holy forms and places denoting various purposes and accomplishments in life, he is the Lord who can embellish you and your family with a healthy and worry-free life ahead.

 

Traits of Lord Bhavodbhava Rudra or Lord Chanda and his Symbolic Cosmic Energy

Lord Bhavodbhava is revered as Lord Chandiswaraya who is said to be one of 63 nayanmar - saints. Who is also revered as Chandesha, Chanda. Lord Chandiswaraya was born in the lineage of Sage Kashyapa. He is a combination of abundance of knowledge in Vedas, Shastras and Agamas, even when he was young. When Lord Chanda was young, he noted that beloved cows was uncared in extending love and affection and he was the one who on his own started tendering and caring the cows. Out the milk he could get out of the cow started pouring some milk on Lingheswar i.e. Lord Shiva Linga, made out of sand. On hearing of his service to Linga offering milk was considered as wastage of milk by the villagers and also reached his father Datta's ears and started scolding his son for mere waste of milk on the linga. Also he turned emotional with anger, forced Datta to kick the linga while Lord Chanda was in deep meditation got interrupted and his father's leg got stuck with a sharp tool under the sand, which turned as an axe severing Datta's leg, instantly. Lord Shiva appeared before Lord Chandiswaraya, who was blessed and also declared that Lord Shiva himself would become his father and also restored the severed leg of his father to normalcy. Lord Shiva was also pleased by the deep devotion of Lord Chanda and made him to be the guardian and caretaker of his Wealth, who is said to be the one of Ganas of Lord Shiva. Lord Chanda take care of Lord Shiva's wealth making devotees to clap their hands to show nothing is taken away from the wealth of Lord Shiva, symbolically showing that the devotees hands and minds should be clean and blesses devotees with abundance of wealth at home, stable mind, physical well-being, to own of cows and animals and to show love and affections to animals, brings peace and joy, calm in mind, abundance of prosperity, devise the energy to attain the path of Moksha, the Salvation.
